As an instructor, I have increasingly seen my full-time analyst training classes filled with familiar faces – the prior year’s summer interns. Over the last several years, our clients have made a concerted effort to offer full-time positions to high-performing summer interns. While offering full-time positions to summer interns is by no means a new phenomenon in banking, it does appear to be more institutionalized than it used to be, as recruiters look to streamline their on campus recruiting programs.
