There are specific things recruiters are looking for when asking qualitative interview questions. Every question represents an opportunity to advance your candidacy. Being under-prepared can squash your chances. Learn how to tell your story (and how NOT to tell your story) in a way that will set you apart.
Agenda
Breaking Down Qualitative Questions - 2 Hours
During this 3-hour intensive interview prep class, an experienced investment
banking instructor will introduce the most common qualitative investment
banking and finance interview questions and decompose each one to train
participants to read between the lines and understand what is really
being asked.
Qualitative investment banking interview questions can always be divided into the following 4 types:
- Open-ended questions
- Close-ended questions
- Anecdotal questions
- Skills questions
After each question is analyzed, the class will learn how to answer each question optimally.
Interview Strategy - 1 Hour
Often, the style with which you answer questions is as critical than the substance of your answers in an interview. Recruiters are often testing
whether you would fit within the company’s culture, so your answers need
to convey this understanding. During class, we break down general interview
strategies to ensure interview success.
