Why finance students without internship offers are behind the eight ball

If you are a finance student without a summer internship offer, you’re “behind the eight ball” according to an article by efinancialcareers.com.

For a prospective investment banker, this means that landing a summer internship as a Junior is even more important than it was even 10 years ago, when it was seen as an important resume builder, but not necessarily an automatic feeder into a full-time position.

Now, candidates who land a summer internship are far more likely to land a full-time position.
