Excel for Finance

  • Learn Excel basics - menu commands, data manipulation, and formatting
  • Gain Excel proficiency - calculations, functions, formulas, and Excel best practices
  • Understand advanced Excel features - pivot tables and sensitivity analysis using data tables and macros
  • Build macros - improve efficiency by learning to create your own shortcuts

Comparable Company Analysis (Trading Comps)*

  • Learn to select appropriate comparable companies by evaluating operational, financial, and other similarities
  • Learn to choose, input, and model the peer companies for the target being valued
  • Learn to normalize data, select value drivers, calculate and use multiples correctly, and calculate implied share price from enterprise value

ACADEMIC PREREQUISITE
This seminar presumes knowledge of financial accounting (at least 1 semester or equivalent). Participants without this background must enroll in and complete the Accounting Refresher workbook prior to attending the seminar, by adding it to the cart at checkout.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Participants may cancel up to 2 weeks prior to the event for a full refund. A 20% cancellation fee will apply up to 1 week prior to the event. No refunds will be granted for cancellations made within 1 week of the event.
