Options Trading and Pricing

3-Hour Virtual Power Session

Learn How to Trade, Price, and Structure Options
at Either a Sell-side Investment Bank, a Hedge Fund,
or a Buy-side Investor

Focus on the practical versus the theoretical. Learn real-world Option Pricing as it’s actually done on the job.

  • Master how Options are traded

How do we measure volatility on Wall Street? We'll discuss the different types of options, which form the baseline of how other options work. The course focuses on practical, real-world scenarios: If we have a menu of option prices on Bloomberg, how do I know how much I need to pay to buy a December S&P500 call struck at 4,500?

  • Calculate an option price and learn how the trader hedges the risks

Option prices or premiums are always moving and changing. A Wall Street trader is looking for options that are mispriced and hedging out risks. Learn to understand how our prices move with different sensitivities, and how to manage risk.

  • Structure and design your option strategy

Say you thought the S&P500 would fall. What option do you pick out of thousands available? We'll look at current option prices and use Bloomberg screeners and tools to formulate a strategy based on the current market.

What You'll Learn
